You might not have heard about Pestana yet. But it´s a very established brand in Portugal and expanding around the world rapidly. Pestana is the largest Portuguese hotel group with 93 hotels present in Europe, South America and Africa.
Pestana hotel Group welcomes a new luxury hotel located on the Amsteldijk with 154 rooms, various meeting & venue spaces and a luxurious Spa, also long stay serviced apartments are available.
The Food & Beverage department will be managed under the supervision of well-known Chef Peter Lute. The hotel will have a buzzing bar serving the best cocktails, tonics and beers on draft. The restaurant, with garden, will be a vibrant place for both hotel guests and locals.
All outlets will be located in a phenomenal historical building updated with two completely new build wings. We are planning to open our doors in January 2018.

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Front Office Manager to lead the Front Office team day to day of Amsterdam Riverside Hotel, a new luxury hotel located on the Amsteldijk with 154 rooms, various meeting & venue spaces and a luxurious Spa, also long stay serviced apartments are available.

This person will report to General Manager and will be responsible for:
We are looking for someone diplomate and with the ability to communicate clearly, with firm leadership skills, who has ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time and to perform under pressure, while continues to be highly motivated and speaks Dutch fluently.
The Front Office is the area of the hotel where guests form their first and last impressions of the hotel this makes it really important for the Front Office Manager to work hard to create a pleasant experience for guests to ensure their return.

- Managing and training the Front Office staff by coordinating the activities of the front desk, reservations, guest services, and telephone areas.
- Ensuring the front desk provides a professional and friendly service for guests Dealing with guests
- Arranging staff scheduling
- Acting as liaison between General Manager and staff
- Preparing monthly reports and budget for front office department.
